Employer value proposition (EVP)

What is the Employer Value Proposition (EVP)?
The Employer Value Proposition (EVP) is the value proposition to talents and employees. The EVP consists of a targeted selection of relevant and differentiating attribute clusters that highlight the company’s unique selling points in the labor market. The brand-specific communication topics for employer branding are also defined on the basis of the EVP.

How to define the EVP attributes?
Attributes for a value creating EVP must be relevant and credible. To identify them, the internal view is combined with external view. Common denominators from the corporate identity, the desired perception and the expectations of the talents are identified. For this purpose, Markenfels has developed the “Employer Brand Profiler”, which – in combination with a verified external view, e.g. market studies – provides an initial rough framework for the EVP attributes.
